    History:

    Like many cat species, snow leopard cubs are fairly helpless at birth and are born blind. Because young cubs wouldn’t be able to survive the severe conditions of their natural habitat during the winter months, snow leopards always mate during the winter to ensure their offspring are born in the spring and summer. Infants stay with their mothers for up to 2 years, at which point they depart and travel a significant distance before the try to establish their own den. If you plan to take this purr-fect cub home, make sure to pick up our adult snow leopard figurine so it has a mother to learn from!
